New: Sports inclusion training from Mermaids!

We’re delighted to offer a brand new two-hour trans inclusion in sports training to clubs in South and West Yorkshire.

Delivered by Verity Smith (he/him), Mermaids’ Sports Inclusion Manager, in partnership with Yorkshire Sport Foundation and supported by our research into barriers to trans participation in sport, the training will cover terminology, basic trans awareness, inclusion in sport and the barriers faced, benefits of participation, Equality Act, Data Protection and more.

Available either face to face or online, our goal is to provide sports clubs with the confidence, information and resources they need to be trans inclusive and make everyone Active About Inclusion.

Spaces are limited, so sign up now to avoid disappointment!
